Team management and roles

Planpath supports multi-user access so your whole team can work together. This guide covers inviting members, what each role can do, and how to manage your team over time.

Inviting team members

  1. Go to Settings → Team.
  2. Select Invite member.
  3. Enter the person's email address and choose their role.
  4. They will receive an invitation email with a link to join your organisation.

Customer organisation roles

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerFull control: billing, team management, and organisation settings. One owner per organisation. Ownership cannot be transferred from team settings — contact support.
AdminManage team members and organisation settings. Cannot access billing.
Billing ManagerManage payment methods and purchase credits. Cannot manage team members.
MemberRead-only access to shared activity and reports.

Provider organisation roles

Provider organisations have additional roles for lead management.

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerFull control: billing, team management, and organisation settings. One owner per organisation. Ownership cannot be transferred from team settings — contact support.
AdminManage team members and organisation settings. Cannot access billing.
Billing ManagerManage payment methods and purchase credits. Cannot manage team members.
Lead PurchaserPurchase leads and submit proposals. Provider organisations only.
Lead WorkerSubmit proposals on purchased leads. Cannot purchase leads directly. Provider organisations only.
MemberRead-only access to shared activity and reports.

Changing roles

Admins and owners can change any team member's role at any time from the Team settings page. Select the role dropdown next to the member's name.

Removing members

To remove someone, select Remove next to their name. Their Planpath account is not deleted — they simply lose access to your organisation's data.


Notes

  • Owner status cannot be changed from the team settings page. Contact support to transfer ownership.
  • The role tables above are generated directly from code and update automatically when roles change.
